These Terms of Service govern your use of the KodeshWay mobile application and the kodeshway.com website (collectively, "the Service"), operated by KodeshWay LLC, a Texas limited liability company. By using KodeshWay, you agree to these terms.
KodeshWay is a Scripture reading and study application for iOS and Apple Watch. It provides access to the KWS (KodeshWay Scriptures, Yeshua-centred edition), animated journey plans, audio narration, push notifications, and AI-powered verse insights. The free tier of KodeshWay includes Lumen AI access and will remain free. Paid subscription tiers (Pilgrim and Scribe) provide expanded AI access as described on the pricing page.
KodeshWay uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You must have an Apple ID to use KodeshWay. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple account. KodeshWay LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
Pilgrim (monthly or yearly) and Scribe (monthly) are auto-renewing subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store. Billing, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and conditions. To cancel a subscription, manage it through your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Lumen AI is provided through subscription tiers managed by Apple. Renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through the App Store in accordance with Apple's billing period for your plan.
KodeshWay LLC reserves the right to adjust subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period and will be communicated in advance.
You agree to use KodeshWay only for its intended purpose — personal Scripture study and reflection. You agree not to: attempt to circumvent subscription entitlements or access controls; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app; use automated tools to access the service; or use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
Scripture quotations are from Scripture translations in the public domain or used under license. Specific translation credits are available within the app. The animated scenes, journey plan content, and original written content within KodeshWay are the intellectual property of KodeshWay LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.
AI insights are generated by Anthropic's API. They are not theological authority and must not be treated as such. AI responses can contain errors. Test what you read against Scripture itself — the Tanakh and Brit Chadasha — and trust the Ruach HaKodesh, the Helper Yeshua sent, as the teacher.
KodeshWay is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. KodeshWay LLC does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KodeshWay LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use KodeshWay. The total liability of KodeshWay LLC to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may stop using KodeshWay at any time. KodeshWay LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these terms, with or without notice. Termination does not entitle you to a refund — refund requests must be directed to Apple.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page will be updated when that happens. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable United States law.
KodeshWay is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. For European users, KodeshWay complies with the General Data Protection Regulation. For California users, KodeshWay complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act. See the Privacy Policy for details on your rights.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion removes all data held about you from the service's servers. Content stored in your personal iCloud account is not affected by account deletion and can be managed through your iCloud settings.
