Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

The prayer for the peace of Jerusalem is ultimately answered in Yeshua, whose name means 'Elohim saves' and whose reign establishes the peace of the eternal city.

    I was glad when they said, 'Let us go to the house of YHWH.' Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

  2. 1I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to YHWH’s house!”
  3. 2Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem!
  4. 3Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together,
  5. 4where the tribes go up, even YHWH’s tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to YHWH’s name.
  6. 5For there are set thrones for judgement, the thrones of David’s house.
  7. 6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.
  8. 7Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
  9. 8For my brothers’ and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
  10. 9For the sake of the house of YHWH our Elohim, I will seek your good.
