Out of the Depths I Cry to You, O Adonai

The psalmist waiting for Adonai more than watchmen wait for morning is the posture of every soul awaiting Yeshua's return — with full confidence that dawn will break.

  1. Out of the Depths I Cry to You

    Out of the depths — the prayer of someone at rock bottom. Yet the psalmist waits for Elohim with hope.

  2. 1Out of the depths I have cried to you, YHWH.
  3. 2Adonai, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.
  4. 3If you, YHWH, kept a record of sins, Adonai, who could stand?
  5. 4But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.
  6. 5I wait for YHWH. My soul waits. I hope in his word.
  7. 6My soul longs for Adonai more than watchmen long for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.
  8. 7Israel, hope in YHWH, for there is chesed with YHWH. Abundant redemption is with him.
  9. 8He will redeem Israel from all their sins.
