Elohim Is My Helper and Upholds My Life

David's trust that Elohim will sustain and vindicate him against violent enemies mirrors Yeshua's confidence in the Father even as He faced false accusation and death.

  1. Save Me By Your Name

    David calls on Elohim's name for salvation when betrayed. Elohim's name is power enough for any enemy.

  2. 1Save me, Elohim, by your name. Vindicate me in your might.
  3. 2Hear my prayer, Elohim. Listen to the words of my mouth.
  4. 3For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They haven’t set Elohim before them. Selah.
  5. 4Behold, Elohim is my helper. Adonai is the one who sustains my soul.
  6. 5He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.
  7. 6With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, YHWH, for it is good.
  8. 7For he has delivered me out of all trouble. My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.
